Sobering thought : Time-Energy-Money

You need all 3 to get a life! So you think.

When one is young - you have energy and time, but no money. So you give excuses not to do whatever you want to do.

When one is older and working - you have money (hopefully) and still have energy, but alas, no time. So you put off what you want to do... till retirement as one would say.

When one is retired - sure enough you have money and time, but have you the energy now? You may not be up doing that thing anymore.

The moral is that you just have to go out and do that something, whatever it is, whenever you can. Seize the moment, and do it. If you have no money, go on a shoe-string budget; if you have no time, go for a short one; if you have no energy, then that is a bit tough...though you should still do what you can.

I have skiied and fallen, played canoe polo and lost a tooth, driven around New York state and bumped into a tree (or is it a curb or railing), earned a few degrees and other professional qualifications, kept a great career going strong ... now getting married...(Yippee), and soon will be working in another country.

* Have saved some money (though not enough),
* Can squeeze some time (still insufficient), and
* Could do with more energy (no longer spring chicken)
=> enough, enough to do what I want - Now and not later!
